I have set up to paint on the studio in-between visits from swindonopenstudios.org We are open again next weekend and would be happy to show you around.

So I have spent about 5 hours painting today. Things change a lot, but it's very hard to spot the changes in the photos. Now it has to dry. Once dry I will put a glaze over the foreground and darken and warm up the stairs and balustrades. That will m

Painted in. I have used di-oxazine purple and Payne's grey to keep it cool. Where it comes and goes will help. I don't want it to be crisply in focus.
Weirdly my photo already looks like an oil painting. But I feel very inspired to paint it. It may have to be bigger than my 60cm square drawing.
